As filming season 16 is coming up, Shonda finally tells everyone what the season is based off. A "What if" season. Old actors are coming back. Including Patrick Dempsey, A few years back after season 11 ended, Patrick and Ellen got into a big fight and he left. Not showing his face on the set of Greys Anatomy again. So of course Ellen doesn't want anything to do with him.
