World war III ~ The end, or the beginning of a life (Ruscorre's backstory)

This is the backstory of Ruscorre, a brown Scottish fold who was born during the 3rd world war. Living in a time like this is extremely hard and just as everything seems to be getting a little better, it all fell down again.

I wrote this story for a contest, which I won, and since it's all finished and done anyway, why not post it here for people to read? This story might seem a bit confusing though, since it goes about a certain self made species (not made by me) called "Ghosterns".
