Matt is in love with his beautiful girlfriend Ivy, and Peter is in love with his boyfriend Jason. But Jason is afraid of his and Peter's relationship, and makes terrible decisions because of his internalized homophobia. Heartbroken, Matt and Peter delevop the hanahaki disease where their only chance to get rid of it is for the other person to love them back. Or get a surgery that gets rid of the petals along with the feelings.
