Sonic finds Metal all crumpled up, lying on his own oil, abandoned by Eggman. Sonic decides to help Metal and asks his adopted brother, Tails, to fix him. However, Tails can't understand why his brother wants Metal fixed. After all, Metal has tried to kill them numerous times. This forces Sonic to reveal a secret.
