Heronpaw is supposedly the last of Flightclan. She now has to seek shelter in Forestclan, the clan that just so happens to hate Flightclan, with her older sister Rockeyes. Heronpaw then meets Raccoonpaw and Oakpaw, two apprentices that want to help Heronpaw and Rockeyes. The cats want to find out what happened to the other survivors of Flightclan, but the truth of Heronpaw's and Rockeyes's clanmates might be worst that what happened to Flightclan.
