ATTENTION:
There are gory/death/bloody times in this
American Revolution story.
Please be cautious.
The waves crashed the boat. They were almost there. Vicente Yanez Pinzon was the youngest of his siblings, being always bullied, of course by his older brother, Martin Alonso Pinzon, who was captain of The Pinta. Vincente saw the other two ships from the front of the boat, Columbus's who captained The Santa Marina, and his brother who captained The Pinta.
He saw the two at the front of their boat, now he couldn't tell if the crew of men on the other ships was smiling with excitement, but he knew his men were doing just that. Calls of worshipping God for the safe seas sailing to this New World! Not much later, they had to get onto the lifeboats, for the ship was too enormous to go to land. Men from all three ships went onto the island.
And the New World had its first Spanish and Italian settlers.
