The Golden City of Tazni

In a post Roman time, the European lands are ruled by several empires. Warwick, a young aspiring gladiator is pulled into the dealings and conspiracies of the leaders of the empires and the dark secrets of the other gladiators. Warwick must find his place in the empire and keep control of himself so not to disclose his own secrets. But are these empires as simple as they seem? Or is there something else going on deep in the shadows of the empires?
