What happens when there is a one year difference in a couple's age? What happens when he goes off to college and she still has a year of High School left? Can they make it work? Will their visits be enough? Will everything go as smoothly as they hoped and planned?

"Wanna learn how to skate backwards?" He asked.
Maddie laughed, "I need to learn how to skate forwards first!"
"I think you're doing pretty well." He countered.
"Because I am latched on to your side." She laughed again.

He swiveled so that he was now in front of her, taking a hold of Maddie's hands and he skated backwards as she skated forwards.
