The Donnie Christmas Caper

None of the turtles knew what had gotten into Donatello. His strange behavior confused them, the genius turtle always choosing December to duck into his lab and refuse to reappear. He'd work in there for days at a time, refusing to let his brothers enter the lab for any reason.
Donnie would then stay locked up in his lab until Christmas morning when he'd reappear and act as though nothing ever happened. When questioned, he'd simply shrug off their concerns or puzzlement and change the conversation.
Eventually, his family simply left the subject alone. All but Mikey, who was determined to figure out what Donnie was up before Christmas arrived.
Inspired by a close friend of mine who shares my love of TMNT and Donatello! Also my need to have some Dr. Detectivestein in my life! ;)
