Thanatos

Megan wants nothing more than to leave the previous year behind her. It's not that the year was a bad one in the strictest sense of the word. It gave her camaraderie, purpose, and even a chance at redemption that she'd been searching for. But it also demanded something she can't afford to give: her soul. So, she runs from it.

Unfortunately, the past has never been known to just stay in the past, and Megan soon realizes this too when a prominent figure from hers come visiting on New Year's Eve. A talk, a choice, and she finds herself surrounded again by the very things she vowed to let go.

But then again, when you're in the face of Thanatos, nothing else matters but that death is at hand, does it?
