It began with a girl called Bella. At least, they thought it did. But she wasn't necessarily the first.
There were lots of them, in the end. In their hundreds, even. And no two gifts were quite the same. They were strange people, mostly. Driven down into themselves, beaten into the depths of their hearts, locked away and shut away from the world behind bars no one else could see....
They were freaks, by name. And freaks they became.
Every new race must be freed from slavery and oppression. They need a rebellion. They need to fight for themselves.
In the darkest of times, any heroes will do.
