James Potter thought he was destined to fall for Lily Evans-until Eve Brooks came crashing into his life, quite literally. When a rogue bludger knocks the shy Ravenclaw off her broom, James catches her and finds himself captivated by the mystery behind her emerald green eyes. For the first time, he feels something more than infatuation, something deeper than the rivalry with Lily.

Eve, however, isn't easily charmed by James's usual cocky demeanour. But James Potter has never been one to back down from a challenge.
