15 year old teenage girl Corin Tel, wakes up to find herself in the glade..

She looks amongst the others Gladers and starts to get more curious why she was sent her, being the only girl.

Showing her around, Alby explains the rules, Glade and never to go behind the walls.

She meets a friendly runner, by the name of Newt. He talk and shows her around a bit more and soon become best of friends.

Corin settles in fine for a year or so, until, soon they realise people are disappearing. Corin works up the courage to investigate. Not knowing how to react Newt helps her...
