Earth may have been the cradle of humanity, but its inhabitants have been oppressed and marginalized by the Federation of Mankind, which has spread far and wide throughout the stars. The people of Earth have finally had enough, and central to their revolution is the defeat of the Ambassadors, residing in a luxurious, high-tech space station that orbits the blue planet. Will the Earth technicians, led by Frederik, be able to overcome the oppressive power, or will the ruthless Federal agents put an end to their movement?
This is a lighthearted (if you like it when people die) short sci fi thriller dreamed up as a writing exercise based on a prompt from a friend (something entitled "Out of Options" that takes place on a space station and has at least one big explosion).
