Nathan was on a patrol in Ukraine when he was ambushed by enemy soldiers.
Katsumoto and Speaking Eagle died from illness.
Marcus died in battle.
They all wake up in the afterlife despite the fact that they lived in different time periods and before God himself. Then all of them are given tasks and reborn in the world of Remnant.
