Avariella has lived her 18 years in a perfectly structured, golden cage. As the omega daughter of a powerful pack Alpha, the expectations set by her less than kind father have almost completely torn away the naturally curious, fun loving, kind spirited girl, she once was.

In an attempt to escape, she saves up enough money to high tail it far away from her family.

But all plans for escape are thoughrally squandered when a terrifying beast of a man, claims her as his at the annual royal ball.

Tales of the king carry with them promises of blood.

After reluctantly spending time with the overbearing Alpha, Avariella can't seem to deny her attraction to the feared king. Despite not feeling to bond between them yet, she finds herself wondering if just maybe, there's something more to his all-consuming darkness.

Perhaps being mated to a monster won't be quite as aweful as she had been expecting it to be after all.

Especially when his touch promises something very different than the stories she had been told all her life. Or the way she can't ignore her heart that screams each time his gaze fills with a hunger that Avariella fears may just consumes her very being.
