Piper lives the life of a newsboy in Manhattan in the year 1899. Piper dreams of running off to Santa Fe to escape the smokey streets of the city and her painful past. However, when the papers jack up the price of the papes, Piper stands with all the other boys of New York to strike! Oh, one more thing, Piper is the only girl Manhattan Newsie!
