Old Friends (Yuuri x Victor)

Victor and Yuuri have been best friends for as long as they can remember. Victor moved from Russia when he was very young to Japan for a change of pace but after he wins the Jr. Worlds he is approached by a trainer who offers to train him but only if he comes back home, Victor accepts the offer with a sad heart and needs to leave Yuuri so he can chase his dream.

Yuuri is left alone away from Victor to fight his dream alone and watch as his only friend takes the spotlight as he struggles.

It would be 13 years before they see each other again.
