Since Torlock kidnapped Korra, Mako has become overprotective of her. After Amon has been defeated, Mako kidnaps Korra and takes her to the Earth kingdom, and now he's using the same thing that the Dai Li use to hippopotamus her. Mako wants Korra to forget being the Avatar and to her into a proper fragile woman, forever.
