Aiden Acharya has always been a careful boy, especially after his father left him and his mother one day with no explanation. So he isn't sure what to do when a girl steals his shoes and runs away. Especially when he finds those same shoes on the feet of a woman nearly twenty years later. At first, he's hesitant to reach out to her, worried his parents' situation will spread to him, but soon enough, he finds himself smiling in only her presence. Soon enough, she becomes a major part of his life.
