Gate: Thus the lone star republic fought there

The year 2067 and everyday is a struggle for survival. Mutants and anomalies stalk the forests and ruined buildings that once made up the former USA. While factions constantly fight for either power or ideology. And through it all the 2nd republic of Texas, after winning its independence from the collapsing USA, struggles to survive just like the rest of mankind.

But after a mysterious gate opens in the wilderness that is the zone and brings forth an army straight out of fantasy. Can the 2nd Texan republic and their STALKER affiliates conquer what's on the other side or fall just like the other empires of old?
