I've never been one for a good start. I suck at first impressions but I finally know how to start this story that I've been wanting to make for years now.Year: 3024Time: 0346Planet: hyperionLocation: major city, masmaIt's been 6 years since the end. I can hear them everywhere. Their constantly walking around, bumping into the walls or they stand still for days at a time. I haven't been able to leave this fucking place. I don't know how in still alive. I've been living with half of my body burnt and charred just like the infested. Those who did survive died within the next few days when the infested started appearing. The storm. It's getting worse. Whatever made it...it's distroyed this planet and the federation doesn't exist anymore. I lost communications bearly 3 months after the outbreak. At fist I thought it was the storm but I figured out the infested ransacked that place. After the hub fell, the infested started changing. They...evolved I think. I don't know. They just get stronger. At night is when it's the most pieceful. I had to change my sleep schedule just to keep a small part of my sanity so I can function enough to ration my supplies that ran out nearly 2 weeks ago. I've got nothing left. I've transfered what I've discovered through my experiments on what's left of my co-workers. Whatever brings the infested back...it's nothing we've ever seen. The body dies via the extremely high radiation that overwhelmed the planet at first. It was like the whole planet was nuked for the first year. Anyone who stepped out would instantly be burnt and anyone else who was there when that dumbass opened the door. The planets recovered and the atmosphere remained somewhat intacted witch convinced me God was real and didn't want what's left of humanity on this rock to die. Unfortunately the EMF storm still circles the planet. Smaller storms come and go but they don't pose the biggest danger. Either way, I'm fucked. I just hope whoever finds this data...saves us.....…
