Corluna: The hidden village

Due to the fact that I am new to writing and Wattpad, my first story will not be a full book. Rather, it is like a short story which is based off the MC of my novel that is yet to come. It is sort of a novella that focuses on the past of the MC. This is a good way for me to dip my toes in to the waters of being an author, helping me gain further understanding of using Wattpad and seeing whether people are interested in my story.

This story follows Ophelia Corvina, a child of the hidden village of Corluna. A place of peace, prosperity and hidden secrets. The people have lived in harmony for millennia, hidden away from the rest of the world, a place only known by a few. Growing up, Ophelia had the perfect life. Amazing and loving parents, true friends, and the amiable and delightful people of Corluna she can call her family. But, unbeknownst to the people, their leaders and elders are hiding something. Her parents are hiding something. In her search for the truth, Ophelia follows the thread of fate to an event that solidifies the path she will walk for the rest of her life.
