Maeve Lawrence was a normal girl in Highschool with a little friend group. Until there's a new kid in her apartment area who starts to stand up for her and her friends.

And suddenly everything changes:

* Karate is the new centerpiece of the world.
* A few of her friends start to change for the better or worse.

* new friendships start to blossom.

And if that's not enough her older brother is back in town.
