Blood, Sweat, and Tears

He caressed my cheek tenderly, sending a wave of apprehension and excitement down my spine.

"I know," he murmured. His fingers trailed down my face and came to rest on my neck, feeling the pounding of my heart in my veins. "And I'm sorry."

And he sank his fangs into my neck.
