Amilyn Lars is the daughter of Owen and Beru Lars, and little cousin of Luke Skywalker. The two grew up close, Amilyn being born only a year after Luke had arrived on Tatooine. Neither knew of Luke's parentage, and life is normal in the sandy desert, until Luke and Amilyn find a message hidden in a newly bought astromech.
