It's 3 years after the FAYZ. Diana is living with Sam and Astrid and the three of them are getting closer to have a regular live. Diana even falls in love again, with someone common, she thinks.

Caine's body may be dead, but his soul is alive and still in Perdido Beach, fighting with the small piece of the gaiaphage that is left. He is waiting for his one love Diana.

But at some point, after everything went wrong, Diana doesn't want to live anymore. Not without Caine.
