A Swordsman's Oath

Vergil. A man who has lost those around him. After his son - Nero's death, he stopped at nothing to have revenge to those that killed his son, no matter the cost; even the lives of innocent people. At the end of his road, he had been killed by his brother, Dante. But perhaps God had taken pity on him. So it was, Vergil had been reborn, not as devil, but as man. Vowing himself to not let those around him die, his new purpose was to protect this world, even if his past comes back to haunt him. That was his oath as a swordsman.
