A gender-swapped sequel to Fantasy Girl, a Cinderella-and-Prince Charming story revolves a male idol named Hoàng Long who is attracted to a 19 year old Vietnamese American fangirl named Lệ Na since their first encounter on Bigo Live. After his concert night at Aqua Hall, he went home in a tiring state at 1:30am and decided to get a good night's sleep. Then, he discovers that he is transported into a workplace romance comic book called La Vie Est Belle, and that he is a second male lead, also a handsome fashion magazine editor named Lucas Lee. Not satisfied with this fate, Hoàng Long decides to forge his own destiny by changing the story's plot and finding his own true love. His hopes of changing his fate becomes stronger than before when he unexpectedly meets Tiểu Yến, an average-looking assistant who also looks like Lệ Na. Over time, Hoàng Long begins to bond more with Tiểu Yến and discovers that Tiểu Yến is also Lệ Na's name in the fictional universe.
