FOREWORDCrime is a fascination. And the thrill that arrives in the observation and understanding of crime, makes crime fiction a genre of great interest to readers. My main motive to write the genre of a crime thriller was an early association with books like Nancy Drew, Secret Seven, Hardy Boys, that slowly progressed to authors like Dan Brown, Jefferey Archer, John Grisham, Daniel Silva and television shows like Castle and so on.'Thrill,' is more like a verb in crime, as crime forwards and puts into action, the feeling of thrill, an adrenaline rush that stimulates the curiosity and mystery in a reader's mind. This story is one of my initial attempts to explore my perceptions and develop my idea of criminal psychology and its presence in literature. More greatly, the human psyche fascinates me. Not everyone who commits a crime is a criminal. Sometimes, the motive of balancing something bad done to you (Revenge) deludes a criminal's mind. Sometimes, psychopathic tendencies overtake, and at others, a knack for giving justice at your own will. These are the things that make crime fiction a genre that requires intense understanding of human psychology, for the mind is a monitor of all our actions, and its complexities tend to create the many wonders, and dangers around us.I hope my readers enjoy this short tale that also is a brief take on the genre of detective fiction.
