A rewrite of a beautiful Roman mythology love story between Pluto, the king of the underworld (also known as hades) and Proserpina (also known as Persephone) the daughter and descendant of Ceres (also known as Demeter) the mother of nature. Originally written by Nathaniel Hawthorne. My rewrite with turn Pluto, the antagonist as he's seen, into the main character to share his sadness as he watches Proserpina from below, and focusing more on Pluto's thoughts and life style.
