We all know the story of how Dracula became a "monster," right? Or at least we think we know the story behind how he came to be the villain that Van Helsing must vanquish. What if there is more to the story that we don't know? What if there is something that drove Dracula to do the things he does? Also, what if Dracula isn't truly a monster, but just a misunderstood man, who is lonely and looking for the one he lost so long ago? In this story we are going to be joining Van Helsing, Carl, Lilith and Anna on a new adventure that not only where they are trying to figure out how to stop Dracula, before he manages to kill the last of the Valerious family, preventing them from entering St. Peter's gates; but also find the answers to so many questions that keep running circles in their head. Though one thing they can't help but to wonder, is why is Dracula so hellbent on getting Lilith away from them, and turning her against them. Dream always felt the weight of expectations on his shoulders and they've only grown worse now that he's a Star Sans. Save this AU, rescue that person, stop Nightmare over there, and make X person smile! It's a never-ending cycle of tasks and he gets asked more about why he hasn't done it sooner or defeated his brother yet than thanked for what he accomplished. He feels trapped in this position and doubts if he didn't have his positive aura that anyone would care for him. Most like him for the joy he brings or what he can give them. Nobody around him ever feels genuine without a doubt in his head. Add in the stress of protecting one Star Sans(Swap) and keeping the other(Ink) from starting trouble and you have a positive guardian ready to break under expectations.Then you have Error, the destroyer of AUs. His reputation speaks for himself and builds all the expectations he needs whenever he steps foot into another AU. He's as bad an omen as a black cat crossing your path. Others assume he is bad because of his "freakish" or glitching appearance.
