After a lab accident, four mechanical arms he created to help with his experiments became bonded to him and drove him insane leading him to becoming the villainous Dr. Octopus. Over the years, he has fought against the Justice League as one of their most intelligent enemies. After stopping him, he has been put way in prison. During his time in prison, he has met Anna Maria Marconi, a volunteer/scientist from Wayne Enterprises. With the arms removed, his progress to getting back to normal was a success.After being released from prison, Anna Maria and Otto would start their relationship before getting married a few years later.
