This is a story about three brothers that lay the foundation for the construction an empire called Cyandrium. Cyandrium's chief merchant faction, the Black Oak Trading Company, has travelled to the foreign lands of Batu in hopes of doing business with the people of Sajan. Trouble is brewing as the Governor of Sajan looks to push the Black Oak Trading Company out of Sajan to regain his control over the region. In an effort to maintain their trading outpost, the Black Oak Trading Company has seen fit to rebel against the Governor and have employed the help of the brothers to assist them. The events that take place garners the attention of officials back home in Cyandrium. What develops is the growth of an empire that looks to rule the land and seas.Side Note: Just so everyone knows, I am writer this story for fun. I'm hoping to write more stories that add more to the events that unfold in this first part of the series, so please be patient with the open ended story points.
