You know how at the ten year anniversary of Twilight Stepenie Meyer released a book called "Life and Death"? It was meant as a response to anyone saying the characterization of Bella, in the original series, was sexist. It was the same story as Twilight, just that the genders of several characters were switched, notably the genders of the two main characters, Bella and Edward. Meyer claimed it wouldn't change anything, but in truth; it really did.So my idea was this: What if I rewrote the whole book, but changed the genders of every single character while everything else stayed the same? I don't know anything about copyright law, but I do know that this is probably wildly illegal.
