After he gained the trust of a demon slayer known as Giyuu he became a demon slayer as well. He kept himself from eating humans thanks to a bamboo muzzle Giyuu gave him.After a few thousand years after Muzan died Mk was the only man eating demon left alive that he knew of. When he met Mei, Pigsy, and Tang they were immeaditly worried about him since he was quite litterally as thin as a twig. You could see he bones almost perfectly. They tried to get him to eat but he refused but they didnt push him to eat since the next morning he looked healthy and the bowls of noodles Pigsy gave him were gone so they thought he was self concious about who he eats around.When he met Monkey King he knew he would eventually have to show his true self eventually but never rushed it.
