Winter. A time of year the newsboys of New York City wish they skip over. It got cold- real cold. Newsies all over would start showing signs of sickness within the first weeks of winter. Wintertime is chaotic enough as it is, but when you're a newsboy trying to juggle a forbidden relationship, the death of many friends, and the return of a psychotic family member?
