Shouta aizawa is a pro hero and a teacher at ua. His best friend, Hizashi Yamada aka present mic, left him many times. However... this time he left him for longer then usual without contacting him which hurt aizawa very much. In his best friends absent he started cutting, tried suicide but was caught, became an alcoholic, and his sadistic side acted up more often as hizashi wasn't there to calm him. Shouta developed feelings for his best friend but never got the chance or wanted to confess in the fear of being rejected. He finally returns after 6 years and doesn't accept it.
