I grip the branch, praying to God it won't snap in half right when I get enough courage to actually trust it's strength. Holding my breath, I drop off the roof, swinging my feet in towards the open window. Once my feet are in, I snap my eyes shut and force my fingers to peel off the wood. I fly into the room at full speed, ending up painfully rolling when my feet give way under me.
