Hitoshi and Miyako have been married for about 6 years and have 2 little girls. One day Hitoshi takes his girls to the park and runs into an old friend, Denki Kaminari. Denki and his son start to become constant presences in the lives of the Shinsou's. After Hitoshi's wife unexpectedly passes away, leaving him a single father of his one-year-old and six-year-old daughters, he's at his lowest in life and Hitoshi begins to wonder if it's a sign that Denki is still around.
