This is just one of my many stories of my dad's old heavy drinking days. And I remember once when we were coming back from Palmdale to the valley he was piss drunk and he was at the point of passing out. My older sister who was a teen at the time and pregnant was going to drive back home but she couldn't because she was having horrible sharp pains in her stomach area and spotting. She was quietly crying and stressed because she feared what would later end up happening. Also my mom will not drive on the freeway and my dad kept fighting my aunts that he was fine and that he was going to go home, so my dad ended up being the driver. He was super drunk and tired and falling asleep on the wheel. It was scary because so much was happening my dad was passing out while driving, my mom was just fighting him and causing more distress and my sister was in the back in mental distress because she was unknowingly having a miscarriage... I heard feaintly on the radio that bohemian rhapsody started playing so I reached to the radio and blasted the volume I just started screaming the song at the top of my lungs and everyone just started screaming along and my dad woke up and stayed awake til we got home lol. Thank god bohemian rhapsody is a long and crazy ass song because it finished right when we got home. Not all the issues were fixed but at least we were reassured of our safety…
