"The Monsieur's Caged Crow" ::【An Oumasai Fanfic】

105 7 3

"Within the shadows of the forest emits a darkness that dares to brave against the duskiness of nightfall. A tower beholds itself to test everyone's solidity and strength when faced with the danger that lurks further inside. May it be the descendent of the grim repear himself we do not know, for silky luscious raven hair is the only he shows. Be inlaid in the grasp of his palms and you shall suffer an excruciating curse worse than death, the pawns who failed to serve him received eternal rest."A storyteller spontaneously foretells to the villagers of ville d'emeraude day and night, warning the folks to never wander across the barriers that prevented them to reach into the so-called 'cursed forest' wherein the story's tower, exists.However, contrary to Kokichi's beliefs that fairytales are mere fictional fantasies merged from the mind of a human being, felt the urge and need to prove the legend for himself--inspite knowing that mortals like him, who also had the same motive, vanished without a trace, unable to live to confirm the legend themself.What happens when a purple headless chicken encounters a caged crow?…

Kathryn (Katie) Ford is beautiful, she is popular, and boys can’t seem to get her out of their heads. Yes, she may seem like your average sixteen year old but if I were you I wouldn’t judge Katie Ford by who she is on the outside. Because you’ll probably end up tied to a chair or lying unconscious somewhere. Katie happens to be at the top of her class at Crossgates Academy. And Crossgate happens to be the largest school in the country for young spies. Yes, spies. Teenagers with the skill of James Bond and the brains of Albert Einstein that have been recruited from all over the world all under the same roof. Pretty insane right? Katie joined the academy at a young age. She is basically a legend there. But two months into the new school year, Xavier Mason, a new, very extraordinary boy, is accepted into the walls of Crossgate, and everyone immediately crowns him their king, figuratively of course. The boys want to be him and the girls practically flock to him. The relationship between Katie and Xavier, well, it’s complicated. And when you have two super skilled teens with hormones and an indescribable hatred for one another, complicated doesn’t even cover it. But when tragic news hits Katie hard she has to make a decision. Can she trust practically the most skilled spy at the academy who happens to be arrogant, cruel, and self centered to help her, or does she go it alone? Read “Unlikely Allies” to find out!…

"That's it?!" I practically yell slamming my hand on the sink. Everyone is waiting for me. I mean, I can't be late for my wedding. It's my wedding! Or should I say, the moment I kill my fiancé. "Well, I mean, we will just have to see how you act with Mr Carson. He's your next mission right after this." I shake my head pounding my foot on the floor making my heel almost snap in half. But it looked good enough. "So, let me get this straight," I protest. I cough quickly. And then start to put my gun in my bra like I usually would whenever I would murder someone in a wedding. I ALWAYS made sure I got a wedding dress with a high top. So I can put my gun in it. "I'm only getting half the cash. Because, apparently you think I'm not good enough for this mission?!" I yell making Dylan cough and then gasp in fear. "That isn't at all what I meant." He pleads and I just scoff looking in the mirror. I put on my red lipstick that made the targets lips burn in pain once they kiss me. Incase I can't get the gun in time. "Goodbye Dylan." I say quickly ending the call before he could protest. "Lets go." I quickly walk out of the bathroom door grabbing my bouquet and sliding my knife in the bouquet. "Ready?" Gram pleads. I just nod my head and then whisper, "Another death another dime." Gram laughs putting his head back and then quickly starts to walk down the aisle. I put on my poker face. And then do what I usually do. I'm mid way down the aisle and then stop. "Help... my stomach... it hurts." I fall down to the ground like usual starting to cough in pain. The fake blood was starting to come out. And that's when Jax (my fiancé) came rushing down the aisle. He quickly sat me up and kissed my cheek pleading, "Are you alright?" I just nod my head. He looks down at my stomach only to see the fake blood bleeding through.That's when I pull the gun out of my bra making everyone gasp. I smirk at all of them. Aim the gun at his head. I had never been to a funeral before... I can only recall two prior deaths significant to my family; The passing of my maternal grandmother, Carmen, and the questionable death of her daughter. I was approaching 15 yrs old then. I don’t know why I didn’t attend my grandmothers funeral or why I never visited her bedside during those last days. I remember her fondly. I loved her. I was always excited when she came to wash my hair as I bathed, and no matter what she made sure that my budding feet were sparkling before I jumped into bed. I was only a tot when my (first) aunt died. The news had made its way into the very same home from which I now make these disclosures. My mom, the 13th and last child, received a phone call that her sister was gone. I do not know the specifics of that call, however when prompted by my subconscious I flashback to that time. In sepia, I see my mother leave the bedroom. She walks toward the front door like a drunkard. My father follows behind her and his parents follow behind him. During this reminiscence, I feel only two things in the present: blank and blue. Gently, the memory dims as my paternal grandfather whisks me away so that I would not mind the groans of deflating hearts. That would not save me because there was little he or anyone could do about the panoramic nature of tragedy and the shaping of my senses as a result of such. My aunt Matilda was born with Down Syndrome. Looking back I suspect she had other challenges as well. There was a rocking chair. Her rocking chair, and I hardly have any recollection of her placement anywhere else. She would let me sit on her lap and together we'd enjoy the calming motion. After her death I remember overhearing dialogues between my mother and her surviving siblings. Matilda could descend steps without much assistance but getting up and pass those same steps was a different contest. So the question was: how did she make it to the rooftop on that fateful day?…

A crime scene cleaner and a demon profiler must clean up a vampire hoarding site, find a powerful relic, and toss it back into hell before it destroys the French Quarter and the world.... My name is Faith Jordan. I clean up crime scenes after the police, CSI, and the dead have gone home, and faithless, dark places where the dead, and other creatures, linger on. I run FULL MOON CLEANERS and my main responsibility is to thoroughly and discreetly mop up after someone or something dies violently, to restore a scene to what it looked like before the violent death. I am daily exposed to nasty human blood-borne diseases and nasty inhuman viruses like vampire, zombie, and the rarer werewolf virus. During a recent job, I got infected with the werewolf virus, so I needed a friggin' vacation. I took a trip to the Old South with my lover Ash, a former priest and demon profiler. We found ourselves cleaning up my first vampire crime scene in an old jazz joint. The vamps at the scene were missing their heads. After we finished cleaning it up, Ash reluctantly came with me to New Orleans, so I could return the vamp's over-payment. No way I was going to be indebted to a vampire. But there was a small problem. The overweight, depressed, socially awkward, blues man/vampire "Ham" wanted us to find out who was killing vampires and why he was on a hit list. He didn't want to die on a sour note. He wanted us to clean up his putrid town home next. See, he's a hoarder and he misplaced something that someone powerful desperately wants back. Ash wanted no part of New Orleans, where he'd almost been turned by one of the world's most seductive vampires, Lilith, who'd kept him imprisoned for years before he escaped. Lilith is part of one of the most vicious lust demon crime syndicates in The Crescent City and she wants the Kissing Stone for herself. But I'm going to find it first. Ash and I will just have to take things one full moon at a time...…

Bikram Yoga ExplainedYes it's true, the benefits that Bikram Yoga may give you may fundamentally change your views and change your entire life entirely. Choudhury suffered an injury in a weightlifting accident and it was as a result of this injury that he developed this type of yoga. He discovered some healing benefits within some of the exercises he practised and then went on to share his discovery and Bikram yoga has since gone on to be practised by many, many people.As experts described decreases in blood pressure levels interrupted -wellbeing brain functions and losing consciousness are only a few of the results of this. It's believed by critics that the humidity and reverse conditions present in Bikram yoga room has a high risk of contamination or overheating. Adding the period wherein it's held the more it becomes likely for this result to be possible. Right next to Choudhury training heart in San Diego, a camping tent has been put up by medical experts to be of assistance to people who experience the symptoms such as fainting and seizures.Choose Diets Wisely(yoga tips for beginners)Diets that tell you to eat specific foods are another sign of a fad diet. Be skeptical of claims that particular foods have a magical fat burning characteristics. A second later the picture changed and the man was standing behind her holding a sheet of plastic wrap over her face. "Press the button! Just hit it and this will end!" Her body was flailing and jerking against the chains but her right hand chained to the table, was staying away from the button. She had dozens of wounds all over her body that hadn't been there before. "Ether you kill her or I will, just like all the others! Now do it, and end this!" About sixty seconds later she stopped struggling and he took the plastic off her face. She was obviously unconscious by the way her body slumped. The figure turned to the camera. "It's only day four. A lot of them make it this long. But I'm betting on at least a week, maybe even two with this one." He slapped her hard across the face but got no reaction from her. I on the other hand, had to restrain myself from smashing the screen. The man started gathering up his implements of torture that were now strewn across the table. A cork screw, a tazer, a lighter, a soldering iron, a few glass bottles of unknown substances, and several knives. But before he finished putting them back in the bag the screen froze and went black."That's just sick." Whispered my mother disgust and horror clear in her voice."Her whole body is covered in scars." Is all I can think to say, remembering the very complete view I'd had in the garage. I don't even know what to think, I'm mad beyond description sure but that's not thinking."Do I even want to know how you ended up knowing your mates whole body but not her name?" Asked my mother.I gulped. "I don't want you to know. Is that enough information for you?" A.N. Please be patient with me for the first couple chapters while I get my tenses straight.…

This place wasn't like the others-no; this-this was different then the rest. At least, for the "freaks" like us. When they first set off the alarms, we were just getting out of our pristine white cells. Compared to the other kids, I always reacted badly to it-I could never explain why at the time. Those shrieking tones were like bombs between my ears. The other girls in my section could easily shake off the disorientation and nausea like the cold sweat that slid down their foreheads. But me? Days, sometimes weeks would pass before I could piece myself back together. Though this time was different. It should have been the same, but it wasn't.Like always, no one really knew who, or what had happened to provoke such a punishment. We were working in the labs, sorting multiple chemicals and replacing them with dangerous acids, then right after we were to scrub the floors till our reflection stared back. My hands ached as l continuously scrubbed at the tiled floor, grunting when my arms buckled from under me. I remember hearing the girls from the building close by us screaming, then only minutes after; the alarms blared into the world around us-into our heads. Pain.Thats the only word best suited to describe how I felt once those blood piercing cries resurfaced into my brain. My head pulsed to the sound of thumping feet of the girls who could still walk; while I stayed in a fetal position watching as they go by. My vision was slowly fading-I remember being lifted off the ground before I blacked out completely. •-----------------------------------------------------------------• It felt like hours had passed before my consciousness returned. My eyes blinked rapidly at the flickering lights that surrounded me; the world appeared fogged and blurred. When my eyes began to adjust they widened in fear. I wasn't in my hospital chambers anymore.…
