Silent is april
**********************- quick note:Heyy Shelly here,I would like to say some things first.First of all, I drew the cover myself :D (hehe, I'm just quite proud!).Second, this story is something I'm (originally) writing for school, I really liked the concept and idea of it and so decided to post it on here. It's a pretty heavy topic (mostly the start), but I feel like it's something I want to get out there.Since I have been feeling pretty down lately (more so than usual) I decided to incorporate those feelings into a story (as ya do) and this is what I came up with.Honestly I hope you like it, I've been trying to imporove my writing style! As for "The dragon Key" I'll get on that as soon as I've finished this story! I'm completely rewriting it.Now on to the sumary -**********************Noah is 17, two years ago his (childhood) best friend committed suicide, by jumping off a bridge above a river just outside of Yellow vale (the town they live in).He struggles immensely with this loss because she was his only friend ever since they were kids. He struggles with social anxiety and has trouble talking to people and looking them in the eyes, his confidence has only declined ever since this horrible incident and he has disconnected from just about everyone. In the middle of his senior year a new girl joins his class, his homeroom (and math) teacher asks him to help her out during class a little and make sure she has a friend. Of course this is his teacher trying to get him to talk to people and make some new friends, not that that'll work... right? He doesn't pay much attention to her at first when she comes into the classroom. But when she introduces herself by pulling out a notebook from her bag, not saying a word herself he turns away from the window."Hello everyone, It's nice to meet you all. I am quite nervous for today, but I hope we can all become good friends." She flips the page and reveals, "I can't hear."**********************β¦
