Lost and Found
This story tells the tale of our narrator, Nancy; a young girl separated from her wealthy family due to the hardships they were facing amid the Great Depression. Leaving her family, she intends to log each step of the way to the city her aunt resides in. Standing upon the platform, Nancy crashes into a boy, bright-eyed and carefree, going by the name of Norman. She quickly finds herself enthralled by his demeanor, knowing she would hate to be stuck isolated in a large old house in a strange city. Nancy accompanies him, begging to come along on his various adventures, train to train, a never-ending cycle. Norman has a dangerous past, unknown to Nancy, something she soon discovers herself swallowed into.…
