He was a grown man now. Bearded, responsible, had a job, was paid well. They knew him as someone who was best with wits and humour. When he gained his senses, he realised that he had been abused. By men, being polite we can call them that, savages, who relished upon his flesh, the tiny little body, that was too helpless to fight against it. The mouth that was sealed by the thought that he was the guilty one, but he was not. He remembered their faces, their hungry eyes, how they took turns when each was finished, laughing at their aspirations. He remembered it all. He was innocent. As innocent as a lamb who is brought to slaughter, again and again, repeatedly until he is stripped down, naked, no shame and pride left.
