"Enchanting", he thought, as the gentle waves brushed softly against his ankles, the seaweed licking the souls of his feet. His body took a step forward. He couldn't stop listening, he couldn't stop looking out to the looming ocean- he couldn't stop. The waves crashed higher and higher the further he wade into the water. His eyelids felt heavy, as he got closer to the sound. It was hauntingly quiet, not even seagulls were awake- And although it was not disgracefully late into the night, the light from the beach had faded to a dim glow.
