The Clown Prince of Crime, along with the help of Scarecrow, combines fear toxin with Kryptonite to drug the Kryptonian into thinking he's fighting Doomsday when in reality it's really Lois Lane, who at the time was carrying the son of her and Superman and a remote detonation device built into Lois' heart that's rigged to blow Metropolis to the ground not to mention killing 8 million people.In a rageful state, Superman flies over to Arkham Asylum en route to Batman and Joker, and when he gets there he kills The Joker and becomes the biggest criminal the world has ever known.
