It's April, 1912. Mr. Charles "Charlie" Francis Spring, a humble and hard working young man who is nearing his 19th birthday, is about to embark on a voyage onboard the new R.M.S. Titanic with his group of friends who all look for a better life in America. Charlie, Tao, and Issac head to the new world carrying little, aside from Issac who couldn't seem to bring enough books with him. His older sister Tori, short for Victoria, is joining them as well. Charlie had struggled to find a way to live comfortably back home where he grew up near London, and hadn't had many friends, or any aside from Tao and Isaac. He never got along with his parents before he moved out and felt as if he were out of place.
