of hers is makes the beast want to give her the library after hearing what she likes to spend her time on. Gratitude grows step by step climbing up the stairway just like respect, trust, and love. If you give gratitude you receive a symbol of gratitude that is a step above your gratitude you gave and then you return that person giving you gratitude with another signature of gratitude that is higher than theirs.   Belle says thank you and Beast actually takes in  her gratitude she gives him and gives her the library after she is given the library and he is embarrassed at dinner when he doesn't eat his soup like a normal human, Belle lowers her pride and show him she doesn't mind when he eats like animal and sips the soup too. Rule of French society is that if you don't behave politely in the time of a meal being served you're going to get kicked out 100% of the time people think movies make this up but they do not make this up. In France the hostess server is always right not the customer, Skylights. So Belle's actions here politely follow the French protocol of politeness religiously and slowly the Beast lets her teach him how to eat like a human again without feeling so embarrassed, she even starts sharing her own hobby teaching him to read and this how they bond they share time each other's hobbies never make one another feel too embarrassed but they both also do have powerful vulnerability moments that do not involve Gaston or otherworldly outside influence. Their vulnerabilities are revealed solely to each other.
The best thing about Belle is that she doesn't talk about how bad the Beast's temper is behind his back because she knows it is wrong to do that. And when she finally has a good moment to tell him about it; she doesn't waste the opportunity. This is why Belle & Adam's relationship works so well in the cartoon and live action remake, Belle's gratitude to him is giving him this kind respect is what eventually makes him lead up to asking her whether or not she is happy and okay. He never would have asked her that near the final arcs of the movie if she hadn't shown him gratitude and she hadn't swallowed her pride and the French do have a lot of cultural pride especially when it comes to meeting challenges hands on they introduce their kids to water and swimming lessons at a very young age they encourage people to take new avenues while staying true to French cultural customs that have been around for years, Skylights. I've seen it in nonfiction books. You may think it is so out of the world but to the French Belle's behavior towards the beast is respectable, polite and even more mature than some other Disney role models as well.
Musa is a dark mirror of the beast the worst outcome possible in Winx Club in Season 5

Musa's surprise is one thing but she could have also said thank you and it would have validate Riven's time and effort into that song, Skylights but because doesn't say thank you Riven's left in the dark wondering if his efforts even mattered.
And for those of you saw my in defense of Riven pages where I reference the Beauty & the Beast meme pictures I added here that you don't really think Riven is afraid of his relationship with Musa whelp he confirms it himself right here in their duet song with this lyric, "I've tried to hide it everyday because deep down inside I've been SO Afraid!"

This one line says just how much Riven has grown and in Season 6 Riven's amount of fearfulness reaches his breaking point and that is why he leaves everything that reminds him of his endless fear behind. Riven & Musa totally represents Stockhold Syndrome theme worse than Beauty & the Beast Riven suffers because of this all his actions are the multiple symptoms of undergoing Stockhold Syndrome without making it far enough to the most worst stage (to the actual intimate thing).
(Cleveland Clinic Factual Mental Health problems of Stockhold Syndrome link: https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/diseases/22387-stockholm-syndrome)

For instance negative feelings towards Jason Queen the Music expert authority is one of his symptoms.
2nd symptom Riven is distrustful, constantly irritated  jittery and seriously anxious all the time.
Symptom 3: He can't relax about anything or enjoy anything anymore (Now this symptom is nowhere in the Beauty & the Beast movies from Disney franchise except Descendants Franchise, Skylights) but Riven has this problem consistently from Season 4-6.
Symptom 4 Trouble Concentrating that is also something Riven suffers from, people, also in later seasons especially in Season 6 with his endless training courses with himself it is his coping mechanism and Musa has to ruin this too by butting in instead of complimenting his aiming she just grabs his weapon right out of his hands. So rude Musa honestly at least he has he has a coping mechanism while you don't even use yours properly aka your music.
Another syndrome Riven goes through in the Winx Club tv show is Battered person syndrome.
(Same website Battered Person Syndrome link here: https://www.ccjm.org/content/ccjom/63/4/199.full.pdf)
Battered Person Syndrome.
Symptoms of this: name-calling, intimidating remarks, switches from the violent phase to the instant happy honeymoon phase, the person being the batterer offers apologies and remorse just to tear it right down again and eventually starts becoming so desensitized to their victims responses and pleas that they ignore them and with this lie from the person doing the battering their aggression only increases with every lie which leads to violence. Woman and specifically Mothers suffer under this more than men in our world even today this makes Riven a true exception to the world of tv men because not all women are perfect either and I have no doubt men will find this chapter so very relatable for them, too.
