He gasped.

"Oh no! Quick, show me the wound!"

Terres grabbed Meru's bloodied hand without hesitation and pulled it back from the wound.

"It's not that serious, it doesn't really hurt that much just looks bad..."

Meru smiled at Terres but Terres was staring at the pink orb circling around Meru's head.

"If it doesn't hurt it's because of your spirit's ability! I know what a pink spirit does! It's pain alleviation!"

"No, that's..."

Meru tried to deny but Terres didn't even want to listen.

"Trispi! Heal him!"

Terres called and a green orb appeared above his head and danced excitedly.

"Trispi, not now! Help me heal Meru!"

At the desperate voice of Terres, the green orb became stopped dancing and floated towards the black-haired boy's wound and started glowing brightly. After a few minutes, the bleeding completely stopped but the wounds didn't close completely yet. Without hesitation, Terres grabbed the edge of his shirt and tore it into pieces and made a makeshift bandage that he used to cover Merus wound.

"Wow, you're good! Thank you!"

Meru grinned to him but when Terres raised his head his eyes were full of anger and tears.

"You idiot!"

He shouted and tears started streaming down his face.

"Who told you to protect me!? Look what happened, you got hurt because of me!"

He shouted and smacked his fist against Meru's chest.

"I'm a man too, you know!? I don't need protection!"

Even though he said that with how much he trembled and how much he was crying coupled with his fragile feminine looks would make anyone want to protect him.

He smacked Meru's chest again.

"Stupid! Stupid!"

He cried out.

"Why did you just jumped out at them without a plan, you just begged to be stabbed! I- I was worried...!"

What Terres meant was that he was worried about Meru as a fellow freshman, but honestly, it didn't sound like that at all.

Meru actually blushed and looked away awkwardly.

"Even though you're a man and not a girl...! Don't act so reckless!"

The last sentence didn't make much sense to Meru but he didn't bother about that, He raised his hand and touched the tear-stained cheek of Terres.

"Hey, don't cry alright? I'm fine already, really..."

He said and wiped Terres's tears with his sleeve.

"Everything's fine now, right?"

He asked with a weak smile.

"Stupid...!"

Terres sobbed once more and lost consciousness falling into surprised Meru's arms.
